Capacity Planning

Baseline models are built automatically by Mirador CM, based on the OpenView 'Application' defnitions. The user can then specifiy both a range of hardware choices, and a set of workload growth (or decrease) patterns. The Mirador CM analytical modelling engine, based on queuing network theory, enables the Scenario Reporter to show immediately the impact of the user's hardware choices and growth rates on both delivered performance and device utilisations.
