Architecture

Mirador CM consists of two primary components, Mirador CM Server and Mirador CM Client.  Both components run on Windows systems.

Mirador CM Server runs as a Windows service and manages the communication with the HP Software environment.  It issues standard calls to one or more OVPM nodes on a regular basis (as defined by the user) and manages the storage of performance data in the CDB using a Microsoft SQL server engine.  Mirador CM Server also receives and services requests and instructions from the Mirador CM Clients. 

Mirador CM Client handles all user interface tasks and communicates using standard internet protocols (secure protocol if required) with one or more instances of Mirador CM server.
